The Young Vilenica Award is presented by the Cultural Centre Vilenica from Sežana. This year’s Young Vilenica Award was presented in the Vilenica Cave on 24 May 2008.

The winner of the 2008 Young Vilenica Award in the age group 6 – 10 is Liam Visentin from Croce di Trieste, Italy .

The winner of the 2008 Young Vilenica Award in the age group 11 – 14 is Ana Šemrov from Sežana.
